Tzeni Argyriou
Tzeni Argyriou was born in Kavala City. She graduated with honors from the State School of Dance in Athens. She got a scholarship from Onassis Foundation and found herself in New York continuing her research on performing, improvisation and composition. She danced with various companies and created her first performances. In 2003 she became founding member of amorphy.org. While looking for personal ways of expression got intrigued by the use of various means of art (especially new technologies) in the dramaturgy of her performances. She teaches seminars on improvisation and instant composition.
