Extended deadline for DA FEST workshops
2011-09-01The application deadline for workshop participants DA Fest 2011 extended to 7 September 2011.
Students and professional young artists can apply for the following workshops:
Practising on Stage Dilemma’s, led by Tzeni Argyriou and Stavroula Siamou (GR), 12-15.09.2011
Stereoscopic (3-D) Cinema, Video, and Graphics, led by George Vrabchev (BG), 12-13.09.2011
DIY Sound Objects, led by Andreas Muxel, (AUT/DE), 13-15.09.2011
Getting Started Resolume Workshop, led by Joris de Jong (NL), 14.09.2011
Advanced Resolume Workshop, led by Joris de Jong (NL) , 15.09.2011

Most of workshop has 15 available places, of which 8 are reserved for current and former students of the National Academy of Art. The remaining places will be distributed among the other candidates.
Only DIY Sound Objects workshop has limit to 12 participants, of which 7 reserved for students of the NAA, and 5 for the other candidates.
The working language of all workshops is English.
To apply for participation in one of the workshops, fill in the application form on the festival website - http://2011.da-fest.bg/en/application-go/.
Applicants are requested to submit a brief curriculum vitae and motivation for their participation in the workshop.
Specific requirments for each workshop are listed in the workshop description.
The fee for participation in the workshops are as following:
Practising on Stage Dilemma’s, led by Tzeni Argyriou and Stavroula Siamou (GR), 3 days, 100 leva
Stereoscopic (3-D) Cinema, Video, and Graphics, led by George Vrabchev (BG), 2 days, 80 leva
DIY Sound Objects, led by Andreas Muxel, (AUT/DE), 3 days, 100 leva plus 110 leva for Arduino board/set
Getting Started Resolume Workshop, led by Joris de Jong (NL), 1 day, 80 leva
Advanced Resolume Workshop, led by Joris de Jong (NL), 1 day, 80 leva
Students and graduates of the National Academy of Art, Sofia receive a 50% discount on participation fee.
Deadlines
The deadline for applications is September 7, 2011.
Selected applicants will be notified by September 7 and are requested to confirm their participation by September 9. The selected participants should sign up for the workshops between September 12 and 14.
