Kinetic sculpture

With this project Kinetic make possible the acquisition of function by the sphere – a shape that is an axiom in the world of forms – rationalising it as a key element of modern kinetic sculpture. In the exhibition hall, the object – it resembles a dome that includes the sphere – acts as an intermediary between the viewer and the content. Moving the sphere with their hands, viewers set in motion various interactive objects. The project enables Kinetic to achieve the perception of the kinetic sculpture by using multiple senses, provoking at the same time perceptions which everyday people are unaccustomed to. The combination of movement and shifts in space creates a situation in which the viewer’s presence can unleash a string of interactions: What we perceive can become our own product.
