This ten-minute film, is the third and final section of a larger work exploring human notions and negotiations of their own borders. Focusing on our approach to the world outside, this section integrates the human, as filmmaker and audience, the machine, as camera and projector, and the natural, as content. The piece raises questions of our ability to navigate, conceptualize, and segment these categories. It was shot in Teaneck, New Jersey in a swamp by the side of a highway.
